Scratch-and-Sniff, Betty's in Middle Grade Novels, and More: New York Comic Con 2010
According to Brigid Alverson via Publishers Weekly, New York Comic Con was awash in children's titles, which attracted lots of attention. Some interesting developments: scratch-and sniff comic covers (relax, it isn't the Hulk's armpit), a Betty and Veronica middle grade novel series is in the works, and the first openly gay character added to the Archie universe will be getting his own mini-series.
