    Greetings:

    I am writing a book on jazz. I have previously published 3 medical textbooks and I am currently working on a fourth. I have a number of jazz related articles published in magazines but have not published a non medical book. Do you know of a literary agent who can take me on?
    I have tried half a dozen to no avail.

    Hi Hrayr (or Zeesmd?),

    The fact that you are published in nonfiction books and also in magazines on the subject matter you want to pursue in your book is a great start. I don't personally know any agents who are jazz-oriented. Try the resources in this post to get you going:
